Holiday light generators swiped in Ahwatukee

Five generators that would have powered Ahwatukee's 12th Annual Festival of Lights have been stolen off Chandler Boulevard.

The generators had been chained and locked to light poles between 24th and 16th streets. Workers noticed that they were missing at about 8 a.m. Wednesday, Christmas Light Decorators owner Doug Topham said.
